Angkor Wat & Waterfall Trekking

This trip is designed for 7 days, one day cycling in jungle around Angkor Wat to get out from the crowd of tourist on main roads. Three days trekking and camping on Phnom Kulen mountain. one day visit less visit amazing temple , Beng Melea and go on boat to see Tonle Sap lake, the Asia’s largest freshwater lake.

Day 1
Pick up and welcome at Aiprot by our Trip Leader
Afterward, you will be transferred to hotel
You will have free time in town to relax for exploring the town
You will stay overnight in Hotel in Siem Reap
Day 2
After enjoy breakfast in Hotel, you will
Start cycling to Angkor :Start cycling to Angkor: Angkor means ” City or main city”. Khmer people named Angkor as the best period of Khmer Empire , was lasted more than 600 years ,  from 802 A.D to 1432 A.D. 
Angkor Thom:    it means ” big city” , It was the capital city of the Khmer ‘s Most famous King Jayavarman VII. It was the world’s largest city ,it had around one million population. At that time, London had around 100 thousand populations. In this city, you would visit the following temples: Bayon, you start from the east gate of the Bayon temple where you can take some good photos. This is a favorite temple for so many people, because of the view around the jungle and carving on the temple’s wall. You can learn a lot about the daily life of Cambodians in the 12th century in this temple. The most famous King of Khmer Empire, Jayavarman VII, built it in 1181 AD. The carving is priceless about the royals, people, and war in 1181. It is called Jaya Kiri on the written inscription. Baphoun, You go walking to the south to visit the temple of Baphoun. It is a rectangular structure, which was built in 1060 AD. They finished it in 1066. Baphon was a state temple and dedicated to Shiva god. It has very incredible view from the top. You can climb this one to see some beautiful motifs that still remain in good condition. On the back wall, you visit the Buddha he is a Cambodia biggest one. Pimeanakas, You continue to go through the trees to experience the palace in the royal enclosure. In the royal enclosure, you can see the tower of Phimeanakas and 2 swimming pools. The royal family had lived in this palace since Angkor became the capital city of Cambodia. The royal palace made of woods and tiles that is why now you can’t see the structure inside. It was bunt during the war again the bad neighbors. Preah Palilay, You continue to visit the temple of the Preah Palilay in the jungle behind the pagoda of Tep Pranam. It is a peaceful temple in Angkor Thom. It is a good location for the professional photographer. There is a hidden tower in the area, which is perfect for photos. On the East gate, you can learn from the background of the Buddha. Leper King Terrace, It stands near elephant terrace. It has very good carving on the wall. Leper King was the high court hall for the top case that provincial court sent it to the King. There are some statues on the top of the terrace. One is Yama, is made of concrete, and 4 more statues made of sandstones. They are Yama’s assistants. Elephant Terrace, You will start the tour to the Terraces of Elephant and Leper King. They stand in front of the palace in Angkor. The Elephant Terrace was used as the royal platform for the royal family in the Angkorian time. It is a place where Chou Dagwan(Chinese Diplomat visited Khmer Empire in 12th century) mentioned that he saw a golden bridge in front of the palace. It was used for royals, and commoners stayed on the ground to see the activities on the Khmer New Year. 
Ta Nei ou stop to visit temple of Ta Nei. It is one of the most peaceful temples in Angkor. It was built by Jayavarman VII, but enlarged by his son Indravarman II. It is not touristy. You can go around to make so many great shots in the temple.Ta Nei is a way from the main road. It is very peaceful you can pay attention to explore it with the bird’s song.
Ta Prohm  You will go on to explore the temple of Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider temple). This temple is very poplar, because of the movie Tomb raider. It brings a lot of tourists to the area. If you are a photographer, you can get some brilliant shots. We recommend you to visit temple a bit early, because it is a quiet one in the morning. It was built to honor the King’s mother before the Champs in waited culture. 
You will lunch in a local restaurant nearby nearby temple area
Banteay Kdai You pass by Banteay Kdai, the 12th century Buddhist temple , built by the most famous king Jayavaman. Some believe, this temple was used for the court of justice.
Angkor Wat Angkor Wat like nothing else on earth. Your tour guide will find the best place and path for you to walk without crowd, so you can enjoy it in peace. This way, we can have fantastic photos.Angkor Wat is the largest Hindu complex in the world, was built by the king Suryavaman from 1113 A.D to 1151 A.D., it dedicated to Vishnu god.
You will have dinner with  show, Performed by magic classical dance called ” Apsara Dance”

Day 3
You will have Breakfast in Hotel
After having Breakfast in hotel, you will be transferred to Phnom Kulen mountain. Phnom Kulen is the largest and highest mountain in Siem Reap. It covers around 15km wide ,45 km long and 500 m high. It located in north east of city, it may take roughly 2 hours by drive  to get there.
You will Start Trekking from hill to Preah Ang Thom  Locally, the Cambodian people still believe in this mountain as the most sacred and holy mountain due to its historical spirit and natural spirit. Historically, it was the capital city of the Angkor Empire Founder, king Jayavaman 2nd during 802-877 AD after united the 2 separated Chenla empires. This king declared himself as a god on this highest area, by celebrating religious and spiritual ceremonies called Deraveja ( King-god ceremony), simply means the king connected to the god or whatever king says was the god’s word. Naturally, on the mountain there is one of the most beautiful waterfall which every Khmer people wish to go up there and swim at least one in life time. The water on the river or waterfall considers as holly water since it springs natural there and there were thousands of Shiva-linga & Uni (men & women symbol organ refers to shiva and his wife Paravati as they’re the word’s creator) was caved on the river which flow over by water unstop. Moreover, the world’s largest reclining Buddha caved on the highest natural rock called “ Preah Ang Thom” means big holly, which is unmissable for the Cambodian visitor to pay.
 You will lunch in a local restaurant nearby Waterfall. the most beautiful waterfall which every Khmer people wish to go up there and swim at least one in life time. The water on the river or waterfall considers as holly water since it springs natural there and there were thousands of Shiva-linga & Uni (men & women symbol organ refers to shiva and his wife Paravati as they’re the word’s creator) was caved on the river which flow over by water unstoppable.
After lunch, you will startTrekking to Camping site
You will Chill out and swim by river at camping site after long day trekking.
You will have dinner which cooked by local people
 You will stay overnight  in Camping with nature, this is going to be special since you may not have much chances in life to stay close to nature.
Day 4
After having breakfast at Camp site, you start trekking and explore the jungle and ancient capital city. Hundreds of ancient temples in Angkor won’t built without this mountain since it supplied all the sandstones to the projects. The river “Called Siem Reap River now” which springs from the top of the hill goes through Ankor Complex reaches to the Tonle Sap lake, were not only used by people as holy water and daily life but also was used to transport Sandstone to build the Angkor . However, the mountain and some other related sites are listed by UNESCO as protected areas.
You will lunch on the way in the middle of somewhere which prepared our locals people and team
 After Lunch,  you will countinue your trekking to more ancient temple and back to Camping site.
Finally, you come back to camping site for Chilling out and swimming while dinner is be cook. You have will dinner
You will stay overnight in camping
Day 5
After breakfast at Camp you start trekking to on Phnom Kulen to Svay leuYou will explore and learn more about way of life on mountain as well as adventuring this spiritual and sacred jungle. 
You will lunch on the way
Pueng KomneuYou will visit the beautiful carving on natural rocks from Angkor Period. This small hided place is very quiet since small number of visitor know it,event local people have not heard about it.
You will dinner in village, local family will cook our meals
 You still stay overnight in Home Stay in Svay Leu. This way, you will stay close to local people and learn more about their tradition and culture.
Day 6
Breakfast in home stay , You will explore the Beng Meala temple abit early, so that you can enjoy visiting and taking beautiful photographs without crowd. You will have a fantastic time over here
After amazing time in temple , you will move on to Tonle Sap and have breakfast on the way
Later on, You will reach to  Kompong Klean, Then take  a wooden boat to explore the Floating villages and the Great lake Tonle Sap.Tonle Sap means “Fresh Water Lake”. Its located in the middle of Cambodia, which covers approximately 3,000 square meters in the dried season and 2-4 bigger in the rainy season. Its connected by many rivers in Cambodia, mainly with Mekong river which is the world’s 10thlongest river and the longest river in the country. Uniquely, it changes its size differently between the dried and the wet season. From June to November, the water flows from Mekong into Tonle sap lake while from November or December to May it flows back into Mekong. The water flows back and forth annually. Therefore, the body of the lake is 2-4 expanded in the wet season.
On the way back to, you will stop by a local family for lunch and learning more about lives on water
Finally, You will get  back to Siem Reap city and enjoy free time in town
You will stay overnight in Hotel in Siem Reap, your life is getting back to 21 century
Day 7
After having breakfast in hotel, you’ll have free time before flying back home
